Dscout Surveys

Updated: May 17, 2019

Quick rundown:

1. Download the dscout app

2. Fill out your profile (name, paypal email, age, sex, race, etc)

3. Surveys that are available will appear (select it to see a summary)

Apply for the surveys that you are interested in and qualify for (ex: don't apply for a red-heads survey if you are blonde, etc). When applying for a survey, there will usually be a few questions followed by a short video response. I recommend being in a well-lit area and having a shirt on (lol).

Now, these aren't those easy three question surveys. These are REAL companies wanting to know clear concise information and opinions about different topics. Please plan to focus on your answers. It depends on how bad you want to make extra money. Some people I know give dumb responses, or put anything/whatever, and never get picked. You have to remember that these surveys are pretty highly paid for the amount of time it takes to do them. The companies want quality answers, and as someone with a BBA who took marketing classes, I completely understand the value of consumer opinion.

If you fit what they are looking for, they will send you a "mission" invitation. You have to accept it and then go on and do the full survey. Sometimes the case will be that it has different parts. They will open up consecutively after you finish the part before it (Part 2 will open up after you complete Part 1). Sometimes, the survey will run for a few days, and the parts will be opened by the mission leader on certain date (they will be in communication through in-app messages). Other times, the survey will require daily entries. After the process is done, they will contact you with payment details.

Don't expect to be picked for every survey, they may be looking for people with a certain income or background, etc.

I have done about 20 surveys +/- and have made around $1,500 so far (plus the items I have reviewed and got to keep). These surveys have been for big tech companies, as well as mystery shops at certain retailers, & testing/reviewing products and services.

This app is legit and you will get your money. I recommend keeping an excel sheet to keep track of all of your payments.

Good luck!
