I joined Shipt about a week and a half ago, and have used it three times since. I used to pay my little sister to do my shopping for me, but I found a cheaper and more convenient alternative...
Shipt ran a special for Mother's Day: 50% off the annual membership... $49 after the discount! That was an offer I could NOT refuse. Use my code to get the same deal; 50% off! *Disclosure: I will get a $50 credit if you sign up using my link :)
I am a firm believer in the saying "Time is Money". Sometimes, it's cheaper to pay someone to do your work for you. Also, it helps stimulate the economy :)
You can get your groceries delivered to multiple addresses, and usually on the same day. The stores available to me through Shipt right now are CVS, HEB, Kroger, Target, and a few others. You can enter your zip code here to see which stores are available in your area.
The way that it works is:
First, you get the annual membership (use my referral code for 50% off).
The delivery is free if the store purchase is more than $35. If it is less than $35, it is a flat fee of $7. You can also tip your Shipt Shopper if you'd like (I do because I am just SO appreciative of what they are doing).
If there is an item that you need but is not listed on the Shipt app or site, you can add it as a "special request". Your Shipt shopper will send you a text while at the store if they have any questions, or if there is an item on your order that is not available.
If your "shop" is not claimed, Shipt will send you an email to reschedule. You may chat with a rep on their site to get more information, sometimes they issue a credit for the inconvenience.
I have ordered groceries online off of Amazon, Google Express, and directly from retailers. I have also used Kroger Clicklist ($5 for curbside pickup). As of now, Shipt seems to be the cheaper and faster alternative. I don't have to drive anywhere, push around a heavy cart, or wait in line to checkout.
Time is money! Shipt gets an A+ from me.
