Well, burger patties!!! This is a fast and easy recipe. They are much more healthy than store bought pre-made patties. Tastier too, I have seen some that are made of beef heart...not so appetizing! This recipe makes 4 full size patties, perfect fit for Sunbeam burger bread.
Ingredients:
1 pound of ground beef
2 eggs
3 tablespoons of ketchup
1/2 teaspoon yellow mustard (optional)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt (optional)
1/2 teaspoon McCormick Grill Mates Hamburger seasoning (gives it a smoked flavor)
If cooking patties on a pan - 2 tablespoons of oil (canola/vegetable)
Instructions:
1. Mash the crackers
2. Mix all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl
3. Shape the patties
4. Set the patties on the grill, pan, or foreman grill (if on a pan, add oil first and set to medium high heat)
5. Cook until brown
6. Check patty temperature - if over 160 degrees, it is good to go! (I let it cook to 180)
7. Enjoy!
